Process Description for Stamping, Sheet Metal and Fabrication-Blanking

Blanking
Blanking is a basic process of separating sheet metal with the aid of a die. Blanking has a wide range of uses. It can be made into flat parts or provide blanks for the next process such as bending, drawing and forming, and can also be used for cutting, cutting and trimming on the formed stamping parts.

After blanking, the plate is divided into two parts, namely, the punch-off part and the hole part. The parts (or blanks) needed to be punched from the sheet are called blanking; the holes needed to be punched out on the workpiece are called punching.
The main parameters of blanking: blanking force, blanking clearance.

Blanking of pipes and profiles
Punching of tubing. It can be completed on a general punch, the mold is simple and efficient.
Blanking of pipe and profile ends. High efficiency, stable quality, has been widely used.

high speed blanking
High-speed blanking is a method of rapid blanking in mass production.
It has relatively high requirements for die life and stamping automation.
Mainly used in electronics, electrical, motor and other industries.
High-speed blanking has a special high-speed blanking press.

Precision blanking
Precision blanking is a blanking method that uses special blanking dies and equipment to obtain high-precision stamping parts. Compared with traditional blanking, it has the characteristics of high quality, high efficiency and low consumption. It is widely used in instruments, meters, office machinery, computers, electrical appliances, switches, textile machinery, heavy transportation machinery, measuring tools, hydraulic components, automobiles, motorcycles, Tractors, agricultural machinery, weapons, aircraft and other manufacturing departments.
